Personal Statement

I believe myself to be a hard working student and hockey player. I am an excellent and productive player on my team, the Springfield Jr Pics. I aspire to be an even better player so that I might continue to play hockey during my college education. I just finished playing in the USA Hockey Festival of 2014. It was an honor to be selected and to compete with some outstanding hockey players. I am a B/C student in the classroom. Though not proud of this, I do work hard in school with the same fervor I use on the ice. I am taking my first SATs this Spring so I will be able to see what areas I need to improve on. I see myself persuing a career in Criminal Justice. Either on the Police force or some form of government . Which ever path my career takes, I will be consistent and hard working. I will strive to be a productive person in society. During the off season I try to do some charity work. I have done time keeping for children's tournaments and I participate in a few charity tournaments myself. To continue to play hockey during my college education, stimulates a competitive mindset which I feel is necessary to be successful in life.
