Personal Statement
Last year, I decided to attend prep school. I knew that it would be a good step for me to take, in order for me to thrive in my academics and to play hockey and the collegiate level. I take pride in my team and am 100% dedicated and willing to do whatever it takes to be successful. Whatever I lack in size, I make up with my quickness. I have explosive lateral movement, good positioning, and great skating skills.
After this year, I want to continue to play at the highest level possible. I want to contribute and be a part of a solid program. My goal is to become a NCAA student-athlete and receive a Bachelor in Business Administration. In my perspective, having a business background is important. I am good at balancing hockey and school. Also, I take pride in my work ethic, which I believe is my most powerful trait.
I have had the opportunity to work with the L.A. Kings organization, coaching underprivileged kids to skate and play hockey. Also, when I am home, I assist my goalie coach with his other students.
