Austin Kane '15 Recruiting Profile

Hockey is my passion not A day doesn' t go by where I don't do an activity to better myself for the sport. I desire to get as far as my skill will take me with hockey I have worked with a top-notch goalie coach, James Blanchard, constantly for seven straight years.& we constantly critique my game to fix even the smallest of problems, making sure no flaw is in my technique. My off-ice consists of weight lifting everyday, building a strong core and lower body for explosive movement & I also watch video of myself to further notice and fix my mistakes & I am driven to play college hockey ,It is not only a dream, but an achievable goal if I continue to give my full effort. The gift of hard work Ive been given has made me come a long way I will always give my best effort in anything I do simply because I am competitive-natured & I thrive for the adrenaline rush while on the ice, which is why I love high-pressure & I was raised in a Catholic family and taught how to be a gentleman . My parents taught me that I decide my future I took this to heart which is why I excel in any task given to me I have maintained above a 4.3 GPA for every year of high school and have stayed number one in my class. Every one around me has taught me everything I know, it is now my time to utilize those skills and get as far as i can.
