Personal Statement
I am a tenacious forward who works both ends of the ice. I am a true leader and good play maker. I usually play left wing but grew up playing center or defense for all my travel teams. Hockey is something I want to pursue in to college. College is very important to me. I want to pursue a psychology degree in school. I have worked part time while playing hockey and going to school for the 2014 - 2015 season. Getting serious was something I found out the hard way in the summer of 2014. I realized graduation must come first and great grades must be made with hard work. A hockey coach from a college in Michigan explained it's not too late for me (17 at the time). I have graduated high school and have decided to take time to pursue junior hockey. I am a hard worker by nature and want to succeed in life with family, myself, and my team. I am different from most recruits because I can play anywhere on the ice. I am different because I have been to camps and tryouts and played amongst the best in AAA and JUNIOR hockey in the United States and Canada. My future: I want to play Junior "A" hockey to be ready for a College team one day. I want to play the best competition. I will be ready to play college hockey.
