Hockey is not just a game to me; it's a lifestyle -- working hard on and off of the ice. I started playing recreational hockey at the age of six. At the age of eight, I began playing Tier I AAA hockey and gained an aspiration to play at the collegiate level.
I am coachable, passionate about the game and have a strong work ethic. As a defenseman, I am a reliable quarterback on the ice who can anticipate the next play and move the team from defense to offense with a quick transition.
My education is important to me and I am a member of the National Honor Society. I regularly volunteer at the Saline Area Schools special needs program and participate in a variety other community service projects. In addition, I am active with YoungLife, a Christian youth mentoring program in the community.
I am focused on my future endeavors and eager to play hockey at the collegiate level.
