Personal Statement
Playing Division 1 college hockey has always been a dream of mine ever since I was a little kid. I grew up in Denver and was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to watch the Pioneers since I lived so close to them. Watching them not only helped me find a love of the sport but also an aspiration to one day play hockey at the Division 1 level. I am a competitor and will do whatever it takes to achieve my goal of one day playing in the NHL. Every practice, I strive to get one percent better and be the hardest working guy on the ice. In the locker room and on the ice, I strive to the best teammate I can be to ensure team success. My character separates me from other guys as I was raised to be a leader. I also graduated high school with a GPA of 3.98. I would love the opportunity to one day play Division 1 hockey and to continue to grow everyday as a leader and an athlete to accomplish my goal one day of playing in the NHL.
