Hi and thanks for your interest. My name is Charlie Mentle and I will graduate in the year 2027. I am a 2009 and I currently play in the Central States Development Hockey League for the St. Louis Eagles. My goal is to play junior hockey and play at the college level. People say I am a great leader and hard worker. I am quick post to post and coaches often say that I am a really good skater and quick on my feet. What makes me a good candidate for a team is how much time, effort and dedication I put in to make my dreams come true. I spend countless hours at goalie training, working on strength and flexibility off ice, watching game video, and working on my stick skills. I am different then other recruits because I believe you have to have good academics in addition to hockey skills to succeed in what you want to do. I am a team leader and believe in the importance of hockey sense and motivating my teammates to do their best, whether I'm in the game or cheering on my goalie partner. I am an Honors A student and am a great leader in group activities, projects, assignments.

This spring I am managing a local lacrosse team. I am looking forward to helping the lacrosse goalies and keeping stats and video for the team.
