I am very passionate about the game of hockey. From a character point, I enjoy the challenge and responsibility of being a leader for my team. I have been a captain almost every year on my youth hockey teams and this year, as a Junior I was named captain of my High School team. I am a very competitive person, it doesn't matter what I am doing, I do not want to lose! I strive to push myself and my teammates to the next level. The reason why I like sports so much is because I like being apart of a team. Everybody coming as one and proving to people what we can and can not do.
I am a three sport athlete for my High School. In the fall I play football, in the winter I play hockey, and In the spring I play baseball. I have been a starter in all three sports since Sophmore year, while seeing time as well as a Freshmen in both football and hockey. In football I play both ways including linebacker, QB and running back. We have won our conference the last two years and finished second in the section with a combined record of 19-2. In hockey I am a forward, mostly center. My team plays in a tough section and usually ends up loosing to Roseau or Moorhead in playoffs! I have had a strong start to my High School career individually, last year being my best year and being healthy the entire year. Baseball I am a middle infield, and bat in the top three spots of our order. I enjoy baseball because it is a good pace after football and hockey, plus I get to be around my friends that much more!
In the classroom I work hard to earn A's and B's. I am a kid who participates in the group discussion and makes the classroom a fun place to be in. I have been on the honor roll almost every quarter of my life. My favorite class is math, thus I am looking to go into the business field and work with numbers because that's what i enjoy the most about school.
My goals for post high school, is to play hockey somewhere! I love the game, it gives me a sense of relief and joy when I am playing. I love practice, I love training, I love the competition. A lot of people have told me along the way that I am special and have been blessed with an amazing talent. I most certainly believe that I can play at the next level. My coaches tell me everyday in practice that I am capable of just about anything. I want to eventually play big time Division 1 hockey. Growing up in MN, I have been to a lot of Division 1 hockey games and it has always been a dream of mine to be a part of that!
