Ethan Barooah '20 Recruiting Profile

My personal goal is to go to college to obtain a degree and play college hockey. I started playing hockey 7 years ago when my town offered a free summer hockey program. At the time I was playing football and basketball. I did not know how to ice skate or how to play hockey, however once I stepped on the ice I knew it was a sport I wanted to play for the rest of my life. I was a quick learner and was asked to play for a AA travel hockey team after my first year in which we won our first NJ State Championship title. During the past 7 years I have worked very hard both on and off the ice to be a good person, get good grades, and improve my athletic skills. I am self-motivated to be the best version of myself that I can be. I know it is only me that can put in the hard work to achieve my goals. I think I would bring a good work ethic, attitude and teamwork to the team I would play for.
