My name is Alex Aguirre. I was raised in a organization named Arizona Hockey Union providing B/A/AA. I was the top scorer repeatedly for 9 years, up until my second year Bantam, where I played up an age division on a U16AAA for the Union; in this division I still had 16 points. Over the last three years I have played with the Phoenix Jr. Coyotes AAA program. I have accumulated, 45 goals and 92 assists in 163 games. In my second year with the team I served as the Captain of my team, and the leader in points. This year I am moving to Albany, New York. I will be doing a post grad year at Albany Academy For Boys; I will be a starter on their Varsity hockey team. I then hope to continue playing at a college after. I am looking forward to attending a school that can provide the support both athletically and academically. Both are very important to me. I currently hold a 4.0 GPA. I would like to attend any type of school with a promising medical school, along with having a very selective hockey team. My opinion of how I play is a guy that will work as hard as I can for the good of the team. I have the mentality that 3 points for a win is more important than getting an individual point. I do not sit in front of the net waiting for pucks to come to me. I am a very big and aggressive, power forward where in the corners shows my best games. Team play is what wins games and at the most elite levels as it takes every player to contribute. My goal is to play NCAA Division 1 or Division 3, and I am willing to do anything to achieve these goals.
