Bryce Blanchard '16 Recruiting Profile

I have been skating since the age of three and ever since then I have loved the sport of hockey. I love to watch and play hockey. Through out the years, my biggest dream has always been to be able to play at the college level. I have worked hard at hockey my whole life giving 100 percent each shift and at every practice. I go to the gym everyday now to try and improve my speed and strength on the ice. Sports have been my entire life growing up and I don't want them to stop after high school. I used to run long distance for cross country and track, but now I only stick to hockey and lacrosse. I like the idea of a team sport where you have to work together to win rather than running my own events and having it just be all about me. I look at my hockey team as family and give it all for my team when I'm on the ice. Hockey is what makes me want to do good in school and try hard in my classes so I can continue playing hockey. My academic grades is just as important to me as being able to play a great game of hockey.
