Personal Statement

I am a defenseman, from Edison, New Jersey, playing for the Jersey Hitmen U18 AAA. It has been my dream to play College hockey since I was a kid, and now that I have finished my junior year of high school, I have never been more determined and driven. I am on the ice five to six days a week and I am constantly trying to improve myself and my game. Along with the hours of ice time, I am in the weight room constantly pushing myself to gain the strength, power, and speed I need in order to be able to not only play at the next level, but to compete and standout as well. From my efforts, I hope to be able to fulfill my dream of playing hockey at the collegiate level. I have been a defenseman since I started playing hockey; however, this current season I have been switching between playing forward and defense depending on where my coach needs me to play, and with this ability to play wherever I am needed, I believe I can be a strong asset to my team.
