I feel I grew the most as a student-athlete my sophomore year when our team lost our head coach right before conference play and we made it to the state championship game. Although we didn’t win, that experience helped me grow as a person and athlete. It taught me that no matter what happens you must continue to work hard and stay focused. It also taught me the importance of teamwork and staying committed to each other.
In my years of hockey, I have learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. There are many talented players to choose from, what sets me apart is my understanding and value of the importance of playing for the team and as a team. I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and team mentality to make an immediate impact on the program I play for!
