Personal Statement
I am a defenseman that plays a bit more of a defense first style. I pride myself in knowing that if I can keep the other team from scoring, then I did my job. I also like to score and contribute to putting points on the board to help my team get the win. I feel the most important part of the game is to be a good teammate and to do whatever is asked of me to help the team succeed. I am constantly working on something to better myself as a player and a person. I am at the gym with my trainer everyday trying to get bigger and stronger. I take pride in my training on and off the ice. Ways that I have found to try to better myself as a person are, I was an Assistant Coach for a Squirt house team, And I volunteer with a local program that teaches people with disabilities to play hockey. Playing at a high level of hockey has been my goal since I was a boy, and to play college hockey has been a lifelong dream of mine. I would get the opportunity to not only play at a very high and competitive level, but I would also be able to get an education so I am prepared for my future.
