I want to go to college and major in mechanical engineering. I 'd also like to be able to play hockey at the college level, but not only play there but be good at the college level. I am a good candidate for a college team because I am a hard worker and i strive to be the best at what I do and I will not give up until my goal is met. I am different from other recruits in character because I am quiet, but once you get to know me I am pretty fun to be around. Athletics, I am different because if there is a certain skill that needs work, I will work hours on end perfecting that certain skill and once it is perfected I will strive to improve that skill even further. Academics, I am different because I push myself to get the best grades possible. If I know I can do better in a class that I am not doing well in, I ask for help. I am very proud of my efforts in school as I am taking honors and advanced placement courses and was able to increase my GPA during my sophomore year. I am looking forward to the academic challenges that I will be faced with during my junior and senior years.
