Personal Statement
I have been playing hockey since the age of six, when my mother enrolled my twin brother Mason and me in a learn to play hockey class while my father was deployed with the Army in Iraq. I have played ever since, and I have always strived to be the best player that I can be. I was one of the scoring leaders on the Old York Road Raiders Bantam AA team that won International Silver Stick and USA Hockey National Championships in 2011. In 2012/13 season, as a sophomore, I was the MVP of the Roman Catholic High School (Phila. PA) Ice Hockey team. That same year I scored 99 points for the season on the USA Hockey Nationals bronze medalist, Midget AA Warwick Wildcats. In three seasons at Vermont Academy I have scored 118 points. My goal is to continue to improve my hockey skills, to pursue a college education, and to play college hockey at the highest level possible. I have always valued my role as a team player and believe that I can effectively contribute on whatever team I might play.
