To fans, hockey is an opportunity to chug overpriced beer and watch grown men dance around the ice in ways they could never dream of. To fans, hockey is a brutal game, the hits, the fights, the speed, it's thrilling. Fans will never get to see the little things that make hockey so great, the chirps, the room, dancing and singing with your 20 closest friends, the highs, the lows, and everything in between. These little things are what keep me coming back time and time again, and inspire me to work hard every day to improve myself on and off the ice. In addition to my love for the game, I'm also a passionate student. I love to learn, and though it's not always fun, I recognize the value of a good education and I work hard to do well in school. I don't like to toot my own horn, but I'm a pretty smart guy, I like solving problems, and I'm sure I'll fit right in to any college environment as both a student, and an athlete.
As far as hockey goes, I'd consider myself to be a fast, playmaking defensemen. I can hold my own in the defensive end, but I really shine from the redline in. I think I have the talent, work ethic, and drive to succeed at the collegiate level, and I'm open to any and all opportunities.
