Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Ryan Swenson, I am a freshman in college. I'm 6'1" and weigh 190 lbs. I workout year round to get bigger, faster, and stronger. I would have to say my two best assets are my leadership qualities, both on and off the ice, and my strong work ethic. Hockey has been my number one choice over anything ever since I can remember. My love for the game and desire to get better each day drive me to always work harder. I want to be the best I can be and take hockey as far as I possibly can, while getting a good education. Last season I injured my pelvis and have not fully recovered yet. I am doing physical therapy, working, and going to school. I am a part time student so my playing eligibility for college isn't effected. My plan is to heal and hopefully be skating soon, so I can be ready for tryouts next season, either juniors or college.
