To play hockey in Wyoming requires a lot of commitment. I've been playing hockey for eight years, and each year I drive an average of five to fourteen hours round trip for each tournament. I drive an hour and a half three nights a week just for practice. Last year, I drove over 2000 miles for our 20 game regular season. I leave school at 3 p.m and get home about 8 o'clock to finish homework, eat dinner, and go to bed. I wake up, go to the gym four days a week, then go to school. It isn't always easy to get in working out, school, practice, and homework everyday, but to do my best in school and in hockey I give 100% effort and commitment. Working hard has always been a part of my life. I've had full time jobs every summer since I was fourteen. From working construction to working at McDonald's, I know what it takes to be successful at what I do and how to accomplish every task that comes my way. I enjoy every challenge I'm presented with because I enjoy bettering myself and seeing what I'm able to accomplish. I play hockey because it is one of the most challenging sports in the world both physically and mentally. I want to be the best hockey player I can possibly be and go to a great school at the same time. I want to take my game to the highest level. I want to study biology and find a great career in the medical field. I'll take every opportunity to reach my goals. I'll take on every challenge to reach my goals and with the right opportunity and hard work I will be able to accomplish these goals.
I skated at Global Hockey in Las Vegas June 2015. I was offered many Junior Hockey opportunities and I'll be playing in the WSHL for the Cheyenne Stampede for the 2015-16 season.
