Personal Statement
Coaches describe me as a coachable natural fast athlete, a fierce competitor, and an excellent teammate. When I started playing lacrosse 3 years ago, I could only dream about being a part of a State Championship team. On May 5, 2017, my dream was realized and Notre Dame Prep won the Arizona D1 State Championship for the first time in history, following a 15 – 0 undefeated season! It was an unbelievable experience and I was lucky to be a part of it.
I grew up playing football, basketball, and baseball since elementary school. During my freshman year of high school, my football coach encouraged me to try out for our school lacrosse team. This was my first introduction to lacrosse. I was fortunate enough to be selected for the varsity team during my freshman year and have been a sophomore and junior starter for the past two years.
At the end of sophomore year, I ranked 8th in Arizona (Division 1) in ground balls and 5th in Arizona (Division 1), even though I shared the position with 4 other players on our team.
This past season, I was honored to be selected for the Arizona D1 All-Star team and finished this season with 30 goals, 6 assists, and 34 ground balls.
I continue to be a multi-sport athlete, playing varsity football, varsity basketball and varsity lacrosse earning 6 varsity letters through my junior year.
I hope to have the opportunity to continue to play lacrosse at the college level.
