I began playing lacrosse in the fall of my sophomore year in high school and have started in all Junior Varsity and Varsity games since that time. I was selected to the Heartland Lacrosse League Division 2 All-Conference for the spring of 2017 and was invited to play in the 2017 Texas Draw All-Star Game. I have never played a sport that I enjoy as much as I do lacrosse and would very much like the opportunity to play at the college level.
I have excellent stick skills using both hands and have quick feet and can be very innovative when making a shot. My attendance, attitude and dedication to the team have shown that I am a leader both on and off the field. I am respectful to my coaches and teammates and believe in leading by example and know the importance of keeping a positive attitude and encouraging my teammates in times of adversity.
I am very coachable and strive to improve both on and off the field. I will be the first to practice and the last to leave and one of the hardest working players you will find. I am dedicated in the classroom as much as I am on the field. I am punctual, study hard and have always maintained a high GPA. I live by the Catholic High moto that, “Your efforts should always exceed your abilities.” I believe mine do.
Also, I am very active in my church and with the youth and look forward to share my love of the game with the youth in my area after college. I am proud to say that in the spring of 2018 I will be playing for both the Little Rock Lighting Lacrosse team and I will be an inaugural player of our new Catholic High Lacrosse team.
Finally, I believe I have the character and ability to be a complete college lacrosse player and student. I want to attend a college that can see the effort and ability I possess as a student athletic and maximize these abilities to the fullest.
