Thomas Hess '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Thomas Hess. I am 17 years old and a Senior at Boulder Creek High School in Anthem, AZ (15 minutes north of Phoenix). I am 5'10 and weigh approx. 185 lbs. I usually "time" at the top of my lacrosse team for running drills. I have been playing Lacrosse since the 3rd grade. I started in Pleasanton, CA in the Pleasanton Lacrosse League - Team A Travel Division and continued on here in Arizona. I am now a starter on the Varsity lacrosse team for Boulder Creek High School and my position is "attack." I am on the Force Elite Travel Lacrosse Team based out of Arizona where I will play in the summer months. This past year i was 10th in overall points in Arizona. When I put on my lacrosse helmet I immediately become focused and will stop at nothing to get the job done In past games over the years I have averaged 3 goals per game and many "assists/ groundballs." I have excellent stick skills, passing skills, and shooting skills. I am dominant with both my left and right hands. I feel I am a responsible and respected individual among my peers. I have a 3.1 GPA,  I am very much looking forward to playing lacrosse in College and when deciding upon a college to play for I will also be looking for a good fit academically. Another determining factor will be finances, as I will most likely need to apply for the FAFSA. I haven't decided yet on a major but hope to within the next year or two. Lacrosse is my passion and although I've played many other sports this has always been #1 with me and I feel I have a natural talent for this sport. I hope to play at the highest competitive level possible before entering college so that I can give 200% to my future collegiate lacosse team.
