Personal Statement
I first began playing lacrosse the summer before 6th grade. I played B-league until Fall of 7th grade then my coach nominated me to the All-Star Team, and my team won the All-Stars game. A coach who had seen that game, asked me to play on his team in the A-league. From Spring of my 7th grade year, I played A-league club lacrosse until my first high school season.
During my freshman (2013) and sophomore (2014) years at Tesoro High School I played goalie on the JV Lacrosse Team. At the end of my sophomore season, I was asked to suit-up with our varsity team for the playoffs. Following my sophomore JV season, I began practicing with the 3d OC Select Summer Lacrosse Team and was asked to play for the 3d OC Select Fall Team. That same Summer I achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. My Eagle project involved designing, planning and leading the construction of a platform and shade structure, built into a hillside behind a home for neglected and abused children.
As a Junior, I received the "Titan Spirit Award" for academic improvement and played back-up varsity goalie to a Senior who was recruited to a DI school. In early June, I completed a 3-day/week, three week "Positional Training Camp" led by Johnny Rodriguez (goalie Denver Outlaws, All-American goalie Salisbury University). In late June I participated in the 3d DIII Rising Camp & Showcase in Salisbury, CT.
This past summer I played for Brady's Team 12 Club Team, where I competed at the C12 Jamboree and SummerStorm Tournaments in California. I also played at the Maryland Lacrosse Showcase in Columbia, MD. as well as the C12 Elite Camp at the University of San Diego.
My Fall team programs include Brady's Team 12 and BUKU, with tournaments at the T12 Fall Jamboree, Fall Brawl, Sin City Showdown, and Air Station Shootout.
As I begin my senior year in high school my focus on academics and lacrosse will continue. My dream is to become a lawyer and continue playing lacrosse.
