Personal Statement
My name is Luke Hill and I am from Long Beach, California. I'm in the class of 2019 attending St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower. I play midfield, but attack is my primary position.
I'm 5'7" and I weigh 165 pounds as of now. I've played lacrosse since 7th grade and hope to continue to play at the collegiate level. I wish to study Kinesiology in college and one day become an athletic trainer. Athletic training interests me because I want to know about my body and how to treat it, and also be able to quickly help a teammate in a bad situation regarding an injury. I envision myself playing NCAA lacrosse while maintaining at least a 3.5 G.P.A. in college. As a student-athlete I believe that it is important to respect your coaches because they are not only a coach, but also a mentor. I always treat my teammates like family, meaning I am very cooperative with them and open to new ideas in game situations. With the support of my teammates and coaches I constantly contribute 100% of my effort, including when circumstances become difficult. I am energetic and enthusiastic but when push comes to shove and we lose a game, I need to work on being able to accept it. Overall I love the game of lacrosse and wish to play in college.
