Tyler Beneke '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coach!  My name is Tyler Beneke (‘24) from Sacramento, California.  This is my third year playing face-off and midfield positions at the high school varsity level. I feel that I am an excellent candidate for recruitment because I have the grit and determination needed to be a competitive athlete and a solid teammate.  I am very coachable by taking accountability for myself, having a positive attitude, and keeping a growth mindset at all times.      

I have really leveled up on my training, both on and off the field, over the last year and the results are exciting!  Outside of practices, I participate in personal and small group training twice a week and have a personalized workout assigned to me daily, by one of my trainers. I trained with Sacramento Aces last summer and was promoted to the elite team within a few weeks. In my spare time, I can be found drilling the net at home in all elements, from the pouring rain to 110 degree weather. I enjoy being in the zone of honing my skills.

I have been an athlete my whole life, participating in soccer, track and field, cross country, snowboarding, and dirt biking. I competed in my first triathlon last summer and took first place as junior ironman.  For fun, I enjoy a good cold plunge competition!  I am so grateful for all of the life lessons each of these sports have given me, because they have shaped who I am today.

I cannot wait to continue my athletic career as a lacrosse player at the collegiate level!   I look forward to bringing my full potential, and everything I have to offer, to your team!
