As a student athlete, I would like to go to a college that will offer the opportunity to get a degree in Kinesiology/Physical Therapy while playing a sport I love to play, lacrosse. I would like to build a network of friends through a lacrosse family that will help me grow as a person and as a professional in the health industry. Academically, I carry a 3.57 GPA with Honors/AP in English, Chemistry, and Government.
My coaches would describe me as a player that is tenacious with no quit. I was able to play in a clinic for 3 hours at a time in 103 degree temperature with no sub releasing me. So again, I have the ability to persevere through any game situation.
I am very coachable, hardworking, and carry a positive attitude. While winning and being on a winning team is the goal of every lacrosse player, being a game contributor on my team and being a part of the lacrosse brotherhood is just as important to me.
Even though I am right handed, I am often more comfortable carrying my stick in my left hand. At times, my coaches have asked me to take face-offs, and I can play LSM and Close Defender, but I can also play short stick middie defender.
Finally, I have been playing lacrosse since fifth grade, I have had success at many levels:
As a Sophomore, Fall 2015-CO Air Force Thunderbolts Elite Team- 3 Championships
As a Sophomore, Spring 2016-William J. Palmer Colorado 5A ranked #9 and made state playoffs
As a Sophomore, Summer 2016-Thunderbolts Rising Stars-A Championship and one second place finish
As a Junior, Fall 2016-Thunderbolts-A Championship and one second place finish
Therefore, I understand what it takes to win. Hard work, positive attitude, stick skills, and a determination to succeed is key to being a lacrosse player every coach can look forward to having on their lacrosse team.
