I wish to continue my academic and athletic career at the collegiate level. I am a very hard worker which is shown by my athletic accomplishments. I have maintained an excellent GPA as well as playing multiple sports. As a freshman, I contributed to our schools first Conference Championship in Varsity football where I started on special teams. My sophomore year I was a three sport Varsity athlete. As a starting defender in lacrosse, our team advanced to the state tournament in 4-A division. I also started and played both offense and defense on our varsity football team and was part on the state championship Battle Mountain Alpine Ski team. As a Junior I started on the varsity team as a running back and a linebacker and finished the season and was named the captain of the Battle Mountain Varsity ski team. My hard work and dedication is shown through maintaining a rigorous schedule including advanced math and AP physics, Advanced Chemistry and also AP Human Geography. I feel that I am a good candidate for any team as I continue to work to improve my skills through year round training including camps, supervised weight training and participation in multiple sports. My character is proven through my dedication to sports beginning in elementary school. I am not afraid to take on new challenges and have competed in sports ranging from wrestling, alpine ski racing and basketball. I have narrowed my focus to lacrosse and football at the high school level. Academically I am on track to complete several college level classes before graduation.
