Why I, Kyle Green, would be an excellent choice to recruit as a Goalie for a college lacrosse team. I have been playing lacrosse since was 4 years old. Which helps me understand every aspect of the team. I have tried many sports but always loved lacrosse. Having played many different positions at the beginning helps me understand the role each player is responsible for. As a goalie that comes in very handy. I would rather be working out then be anywhere else, consistently trying to better my lacrosse game. The more I play the more I love the game. I could play 7 days straight and 2 practices a day and still love it, and I have often done just that. When my friends are going out partying, I am the kid who puts the lights on my garage and does wall balls. Lacrosse makes me feel alive! I find both peace and joy while playing. It is when I am my happiest.
I am very Passionate when it comes to lacrosse and want to push my game to the limits. What separates me from others is my determination to get better no matter what. I consider myself very coachable, in that I am not afraid to make changes and actually take guidance from others that have more experience. My Coaches have told me I am disciplined, dedicated and very consistent. I often do speed and agility workouts in the morning at 5:00 am before school just to be in top shape as an overall athlete. I have done 8 Goalie Evolution Clinics run by Trevor Tierny and Ryan Laplante to sharpen my skills not just with the teams but on my own. They will serve as references if needed. I have played Club lacrosse for the Denver Elite and many other teams for approximately 7 years. That team is run by the Trever Tierny who holds many accolades particularly as a goalie.
My goals for my college career is to play lacrosse, grow as a player and a student. I prefer a school that fits academically and athletically. Currently I am considering Pre-Med Bachelors degree. I am not sure which type of doctor I would like to be yet but reading and talking to others in the field to hone in for when I am ready to continue school after my 4 year degree. Culturally I'm fairly open to new experiences as long as its a good fit for the team and myself.
I am looking very forward to talking to Coaches as soon as possible!
Thank you for your time and consideration.
