Personal Statement
I didn’t start playing lacrosse until I was in the 5th grade. I played basketball, baseball, soccer and football before I found lacrosse when I moved to New York with my family. My father is in the military and so we had to move to a new state every couple years. Playing sports helped me to make new friends and become involved in the area we lived. I share my love of the game with local youth programs in both the ref and mentor positions during the summer months when I help out with the local PAL teams. When given the opportunity I also help out with camps that are working to introduce the game to the younger kids. My strong work ethic, positive attitude on and off the field, ability to quickly adjust to change and love of the game make me good fit for any program.
