Nathan Jones '19 Recruiting Profile

     I started playing spring lacrosse in third grade.  Over the past 7 years during the off season, I have participated in camps, skill sessions, a fall tournament team, and rip and rope.  Playing lacrosse in college, at the highest level of competition, is one of my ultimate goals.                    

     I am a focused and determined lacrosse player. I have a undying love for the game and a die hard work ethic. I have excellent stick skills and find every opportunity to continue to improve them.  I practice hard and put forth 100% effort.  My passion for the game of lacrosse has led me want to play in college, an elite level.

     As a student, I strive to achieve in every academic area.  I have earned a high GPA and I am a conscientious  student. Next year, sophomore year, I will be taking 2 AP classes and the rest of my classes will be honors. It is important to me to not only be a good athlete or a good student, but to be a good athlete and good student.

    This past season(freshman year) I started varsity and played a variety of roles. I was the starting face-off guy, stayed on the field after the faceoff as a midi, and towards the end of the year frequently played X. My coach described it as being an all around player. I making the transition to X for next season, but will still have the opportunity to face off and play some midi. I think this shows not only my unique set of skills, but my hard work. I am willing to work hard and do whatever is needed to not only make myself better, but help the team win.
