My name is James Duhon and I am a junior at Bishop Moore Catholic; I am 5'10",160 lb (still growing), very athletic and determined player. I played varsity level my freshman and sophomore years. My high school coach is recognized as one of the best coaches in the state of Florida. Our team finished this season ranked 9th in the state of Florida. Our team consistently plays one of the tougher schedules in the state. As a freshman I worked my way into a starting position on varsity. As a sophomore I am a full time starter and I have am the second leading scorer on the team. I also play on several travel/elite programs in the state. During this season I scored 45 goals and had 19 assist. I was named Honorable Mention All District this past season.
I was recently invited to play on the 2013 Florida 22 Elite Team. This is a state level team that participated in the Under Armour Shootout at UMBC. Our team finished 8th out of 28 teams. I was pleased with my performance especially given the high level of competition and talent.
I currently have a 3.6 GPA. I take all honors and AP classes. I try to push myself in the classroom just as much as I do on the lacrosse field.
I am a natural left handed player. I am very aggressive inside and outside. I pride myself on being able to finish plays strong.
My goal is to find a college program that can challenge me academically and help me reach my goal to play men's lacrosse at the collegiate level.
