Personal Statement

I have been playing lacrosse since I was 10 yrs old. I am a captain on my high school varsity team this year as a junior, and lead the county in points scored. I will play club lacrosse with LandSharks (Brevard County, Florida) again this summer and fall, along with Space Coast Box Lacrosse league in the fall. It is unimaginable to me that I would stop playing lacrosse after high school. Two things are certain - I want to keep playing competitive lacrosse, and I need to get a quality college education. I believe it will take focus, preparation, and hard work to be successful now and in the future, on the field and in the classroom, and after my playing days are over. I am confident that I can be a successful student-athlete and teammate, and I am looking forward to the challenge.
