I always strive to push my limits, something usually easier said than done.  This attitude has made lacrosse more than a sport for me as there is always another challenge and a higher level to be reached.  As a constant opportunity to better myself in a competitive environment, I’ve learned a lot from lacrosse - how to rebound from failure, perseverance, leadership, the importance of teammates and the awesome feeling of winning. 

This drive to push my limits has spilled into my academic career.  Academics have become a major focus for me, as I know they are important for my future.  Balancing academics and lacrosse has taught me how to succeed using communication, organization and hard work. I hope to one day attend a university where I can continue to develop my skills through challenges in the classroom and on the field.
