Personal Statement

PERSONAL STATEMENT:

In June 2015 I graduated from IMG Academy, the world's leading sports academy in Bradenton, Florida. IMG's academic and athletic programs simulate mental and physical challenges of an NCAA Div-I program. I realized a 94% (3.97 GPA) and made the Honor Roll while playing attack as well as offensive midfield on the IMG National lacrosse team.

I have competed in box and field lacrosse in Canada and in the US for 12 years. I have played for outstanding coaches, including Coach Bill Shatz, Jason Basso, and Mike Ryder (IMG Academy), Callum Crawford and Jay Fox (Ottawa Capitals), Ken Cave (WILA Montreal), Tim Murdoch (Team Quebec U19), Phillipe Lalonde (Team Quebec U16), and Bob Turco (TriState N.J. All-Stars). I have served as a captain of three teams, including two Provincial all-star teams, Team Quebec U-19 (2013) and Team Quebec's U-16 team (2012) and the Westmount Lynx. I am a certified Level 1 ski instructor in Canada as well as an NCCP Level 1 field lacrosse coach in Canada.

In June 2014 I graduated from high school in Quebec (11th grade) from College Notre Dame in Montreal, ranked among the best private schools in Quebec. I aim to play NCAA Division-I lacrosse at a high level and find the right fit for my academic, social and career interests that include business, sports and media.

FLG IN 3D Tournament

Two of the country’s premier lacrosse clubs, 3d Lacrosse (CO) and For the Love of the Game (NY), have joined forces to present the FLG IN 3D Tournament that will take place in Maryland in late July. Top club teams from different regions of the country will spend a weekend competing against each other in a high-level tournament that will include college coaches from Divisions I, II and III, All-Star Games in each division, vendor village, and a quality tournament in beautiful surroundings. All teams will have one game on Friday, July 18. Games will begin at 3:00pm.Tournament will conclude Sunday, July 20 by 3:00pm. Selected as a member of All-Canada Team, Ottawa Capital, Rising Juniors Class of 2016. The Adrenaline All-Canada Lacrosse Games is a showcase-NCAA recruiting event that features top Canadian HS lacrosse players from across Canada.
