I have committed to play Lacrosse at University of Montevallo in Alabama.
I have been told by several coaches I could easily play at the college level and was named by Paul Rabil as the MVP Player at MadLax Nationals Tournament 2015. I was nominated to play on the All Star Team at the Southern Select Showcase 2016 and I made the All Star Team at the MadLax Invitational Showcase in July 2016.
I began playing at age 9. I played two years as a D pole; my size and speed prompted a move to middie for two years, and I've played at attack the last three years. In high school and on my travel team my primary position is at attack, but often my coaches will put me in at Middie and LSM. My lacrosse IQ is at a high level and can be seen when coaches play me at Middie, LSM, and attack and how I can easily transition to the role required. I attribute my lax IQ to the multiple positions and coaches I have been fortunate to learn from and play for.
I am different than most players because I am more concerned about my team winning than what my personal stats. I am a very unselfish and disciplined player that will usually look for the open man to score and not try and force a score just so I have the glory. When you watch me play you will see a player that transitions between offense and defense easily and will often direct players where to be. I have played for travel teams since the U9 age group and have been on teams for both A and B brackets. Teams include Team Crease, Georgia Blackhawks/LB3, Atlanta Empire/MadLax Georgia. Jim Braun is one of my coaches and coaches for Georgia Blackhawks and Mill Creek high School JV program ( attended 1 year ). Justin Callaway is my varsity coach at Mountain View High School ( Current student ). Dan Kesselring ( Owner of Atlanta Empire/Team Crease Lacrosse ) is another one of my coaches and Coach Dan coaches for Empire/Madlax and Northview High School.
I have played baseball, basketball, football, lacrosse and made the JV wrestling team as a freshman. I have never wrestled before and placed 3rd as a freshman in my county. There may be bigger more physical players in the sports I play, but I am not intimidated by them and never give up.
