Liam Edgson Sopho...Personal Statement
My freshman year I started at midfield for my previous schools club team, we made it to the second round of the playoffs. After that season I realized that I wasn't being challenged enough so I switched schools to play in the real GHSA league where we face tough opponents. The year i arrived at this school they had graduated nine seniors, three of which now play Division I lacrosse, it was a very tough season for us mentally. My junior season is coming up this year and with the help of a new great coach and my hard work in the off season I plan on making an influence on our teams success and leadership.
My work ethic separates me from team mates and opponents I will practice a skill non-stop until I'm satisfied and confident that it will translate onto the field how I want it to, I've always been taught that success is earned through hard work, perseverance and a positive attitude. After college I plan on joining the U.S. Navy and trying out for the SWCC team.
