Personal Statement

Ever since I picked up a lacrosse stick, I fell in love with the sport. It has now become a passion and commitment, and that drives me to want to play college lacrosse.

Some game aspects I will bring to your team are physical play, leadership, and a positive drive to win. As a player, I like to play physical.  Checking, pushing players out, and winning ground balls. I am physically wide and have a low center of gravity, that when competing against others it can play to my advantage. I also have fast feet and quick acceleration. I have been a captain my lacrosse and hockey team, therefore I have experience being a team leader, and enjoy being a role model for others. I bring motivation to the team, and I push myself and others to improve as well.

I have always been a competitive person in the classroom, on my team, and in a game. I strive to be the best that I can be. I understand it takes more than just practice to achieve the level of play I want to develop. I like to always keep my stick in my hand, in order to be the best player possible. I take care of my actions as well as look out for others. It takes us all working together and willing to make sacrifices to be the best team we can be.

When it comes to being a student, I have sustained and maintained a high GPA. As a student-athlete, I understand that education is just as important as sports.

I want to continue playing competitive lacrosse through college while reaching my career goals. I am open to any college as long as my career goals are attainable. I want to be a part of team that is like a family; a family that I am going to be proud to make a commitment to.

I also strive to be a leading figure in my own family, by encouraging both my brother and my sister towards their future.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
