Personal Statement
I have played every sport a kid can play but once I played lacrosse, I knew there was no sport that compares. Since I played so many other sports, I can bring aspects from them into lacrosse. I use my experience as quarterback to develop good field vision for passing and my physicality and footwork from linebacker to play defense. My first goal is to help my high school team win the state championship. Anything less than that is not acceptable at Loyola. My second goal is to be a great teammate and leader on and off the field. I was a starter for Loyola Academy Freshman lacrosse last year and I am looking to move up to varsity. Last year, I was a leader and I was awarded the MVP of my team. Last summer I was invited to Team One Red (A Team) and continue with them this year. No matter what team I am on, I will bring heart, leadership, and dedication. My third goal is to maintain nothing less than a 93 or 3.8 overall unweighted GPA while continuing to push myself academically. This year I am taking 7 classes: AP Art History, Honors Latin II, Honors World History, Honors Algebra II (Junior Course), Concert Band (Percussion), Honors Chem/Phys II, and Honors American Literature.
I am looking to go to a college that is a good fit for me in academics and in athletics. I am not sure what I would like to major in but I am looking into Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Political Science, Engineering, Pre-Med , or Pre-Law. I am open to any Division, anywhere in the country.
Thank you for your time and I cannot wait to hear from you!
