Personal Statement
The peak of my waterpolo career occured during my Sophomore year as my team and I played in the Florida state semifinal tournament. Yet, the most defining and shaping moment for me was having to go through major back surgery and train weak, trying to get back the strength I had before. This gave me a determined and humbling work ethic, and helped me to realize just how important water polo is in my life.
I was fortunate enough to have played under Michael Goldenberg and be captain of the St Thomas team which holds such a high reputation. I will forever have gratitude for the opportunities he has presented to me, such as training with the Hungarian Junior National Team, playing teams from around the world, and training under olympic athletes. I look forward to being able to maintain this caliber of play as well as continue to pursue my love for chemistry in college.
