Personal Statement
I began playing lacrosse in the 4th grade and even though their were only 3 other players involved in River City Sports Complex for my first lesson, I quickly realized that it was my favorite sport. Since then, I have continued to compete and grow as a player by participating on a variety of travel club teams, in addition to being a starter as a Freshmen on my Varsity high school team as a Close defensemen/LSM. I consider some of my strongest attributes to be my speed and footwork on defense and awareness for the game .I have attended numerous showcases, camps and recruiting events to challenge myself to become a better and stronger player. I am confident that the experiences will help me to prepare to play at the college level. I believe it is extremely important to be a team player and a leader on and off the field. I am an a strong academic student at Saint Xavier focusing on each class for preparation to challenge myself for an academic college curriculum.
I have had the privilege to be coached by several talented instructors such as, Bobby Schmitt, ( D1, Close Defensemen/LSM at Bellarmine University) and Kevn Boland (John Hopkins University,Titanium Elite) and feel that I will continue to make great strides in improving my defense for College competition.
