Jacob (Jake) Krieger '18 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coaches,

As I begin to explore my college opportunities,  I'm looking for a school which will provide a good balance between academics and athletics.   I want to be academically challenged in the classroom as well as physically challenged on the field.  I prefer to be close to home and I'm open to all divisions.  Although getting a good education and beginning my Pre-Medical studies is my primary goal, continuing to play lacrosse and being able to make an immediate contribution to a team is important as well.  I've played multiple sports since age five including lacrosse, soccer, baseball, football, cross county, and wrestling.  My athletic background has helped me to develop a diverse skill set.  Most recently I've focused on lacrosse and soccer.  As a freshman, I made varsity lacrosse and as a sophomore, I was the only underclassman on varsity soccer.  Additionally, I've studied piano since age five and I've performed in dozens of concerts and competitions. My musical experience trained me to perform under pressure and for an audience in a proficient, calm, effective, and professional manner.  My musical and athletic experiences have taught me how to work hard and how to overcome failures and setbacks.  Overall, my hard work and dedication to sports, school , and piano have prepared me for a successful high school and college career in sports and academics.  I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon.
