My goal is to study criminal justice and business and play lacrosse as a goalie, working to earn a bachelor's degree toward a future career in criminal investigation and possibly homeland security. When I'm on the lacrosse field, I'm the happiest person imaginable. It's hard to remember when I didn't play, and I've played every position from the time I was a little guy. I know the game really well, and absolutely love it. Being a goalie has given me great competitive and leadership skills and the ability to quickly read and handle situations and conditions. I have solid leadership training and the ability to mentor others, and often help my teammates. My background as a defender helps me lead as a goalie on the field because I know how to communicate what the defenders need to hear. I had 179 saves in the 2015 varsity season. People would say I'm highly coachable, good natured, quick and fearless, have a good sense of humor, have a great team focus, I'm determined, and I like to help others succeed. My lacrosse experiences, as well as playing football for 13 years on offensive and defensive line and as center and long snapper, have helped make me tenacious, perseverant, driven, and physically and mentally strong. As a Boy Scout, I have also been trained to handle many situations and conditions, to work well with others while making the best of and improving things to succeed. As a student, I'm well rounded with a variety of academic classes and experiences including AP Environmental Science, as well as many enriching studies such as law, music, culinary arts, and weight training. I currently bench 215 pounds for three reps, and squat 335 pounds for three reps.
