At first my love was basketball and I was just playing lacrosse for fun. Then over time as I experienced lacrosse at high level, I realized I wanted to play lacrosse at the college level. What I bring to a lacrosse team is leadership through example and a sustained passion for the game. I have been able to use my years of basketball and cross country experience to fight for every ground ball, dodge whenever needed and outrun my competition. This has earned me a spot on a great club team, while also affording me the distinction of being the only Freshman to make our High School Varsity Lacrosse team this past year. Like in Lacrosse, I wanted to get the most out of school which is why I accepted the academic challenge of enrolling in core honors classes. It is not always easy, but I am not one to go easy but rather the one to go the route that will make me the strongest while still maintaining a 3.0 GPA. Like Lacrosse, I expect that GPA to get better each year. Being coachable, playing offense and defense, and being nominated for Freestate as a FOGO will benefit your lacrosse program. I look forward to the challenge.
