Personal Statement
I started playing lacrosse in 3rd grade and have always felt that this sport allowed me to combine the skills of both football and hockey which I also started playing in 3rd grade. I believe I have the athletic ability and drive to be an important part of a competitive collegiate lacrosse team. I plan on majoring in exercise science or kinesiology and then pursuing a graduate degree in physical therapy. I attend a very challenging all boys college preparatory catholic high school named Detroit Catholic Central in Michigan. I play for Detroit Catholic Central's Varsity Lacrosse team. At school, I am not only receiving an excellent education but I am also being taught how to be a disciplined, hard working, responsible athlete and leader. I have always been a natural leader whether it was in the classroom, at home or in athletics. On my summer club team(3d Michigan) I lead the team in points. I also play on Detroit Catholic Central's Varsity Hockey team, we have been the D1 State Champions for the past 3 years. I am a hardworking student athlete and I feel that the university I attend will find me to be an exceptional athlete with determination and focus. A student athlete that is ready to rise to the occasion no matter the challenge, in the classroom or on the field.
