Personal Statement
I display many traits and abilities on the lacrosse field. This includes stick skills, field sense, unselfishness, quick-thinking, and more. When I am playing, I am an unselfish player that will dodge when needed or open, and otherwise find the open space and dish the ball off. I show characteristics of leadership and honor. I am a great teamate and will always be there for my team on and off the field.
I have been playing lacrosse for 7 years now and played midfield and attack growing up, but now I am strictly an attackman. As a freshman, I made the Junior Varsity team and was a starting player. As a sophomore, I made Varsity and worked my way up from being the 7th attackman into a starting position (while we had an injured player). Once that player returned, I stayed at the 4th attack spot for the rest of the season. For the first two season of my high school lacrosse career, I always gave 100% and, on Varsity, I was always trying to get into that next spot on the attackman lineup. I plan to keep this up throughout these next two years playing high school lacrosse.
Academically, I maintain good grades and am always pushing myself to be a better student. I keep above a 4.0 GPA mainly, with being in the Honors Program at my school and having AP level classes. Geographically, I could go almost anywhere, however, I am looking into either mechanical engineering or marine/ocean engineering so I would need a school that has that.
