I've been in organized athletics all of my life. My passions as I entered the high school ranks are Lacrosse and Hockey. When the sport of Lacrosse made its way to our schools and fields I was instantly hooked and felt a natural pull to it. My Native American heritage made it all the more interesting and special to me. As a sophmore, when I was given an opportunity to start as an Attack man on the Varsity Lacrosse team, I decided to put all my energy and passion into the sport and said goodbye to Hockey. That year I ended up being the 3rd leading scorer on the team. At the annual banquet I was honored to letter and received the Most Improved Award. Moving forward I was a team leader last year as a starting Attack Man in my Junior year. I play with pride, and passion, but am not a selfish player. My experience in Hockey has made me accustomed to a fast paced team sport which has made me a better Lacrosse player. I'm not afraid of physical play, but know how to compete in control, both physically and emotionally.
I enjoyed playing club Lacrosse all summer on the Minnesota Select Team (MN Loons) in places like Chicago, Colorado Springs, Detroit, and Dover, Delaware. I saw the World Championships in Denver and witnessed Canada's one point victory over the Iriquois Nationals. I volunteered to mentor young Native American players and participated in the Creators game on the Yankton Indian Reservation in South Dakota this summer, and was also invited (and accepted a position) to play on Team USA next summer over in Manchester, England. This year I look forward to completing my Varsity season at Anoka High School in hopes of bringing the Tornadoes their first state title. I'm actively looking to play College Lacrosse and continue to compete throughout my college years. As far as a vocation in life, I'm fairly undecided at this point but leaning towards a degree in Business, so I'm looking for a good fit for my Lacrosse skills and am willing to consider schools and programs in any region of the country.
