Personal Statement
My name is Brenton Reddrick and I'm a 2017 Midfielder from Wayzata High School in Plymouth, Minnesota. I moved from Atlanta Georgia, where I started playing lacrosse while attending The Westminster School. Every since I was young, the subject I've enjoyed the most was science!
One huge difference that sets me apart from other recruits is my passion for learning. I cherish any chance I get to acquire something new and pass that information on to others. My desire is to study biology in college. I believe that biology is my passion, and it is something that keeps me excited about learning! Non-fiction literature about the real world around me has always been my preferred books to read.
On my lacrosse team I'd characterize myself as a leader and a teammate good at providing help to anyone, while also being able to take coaching and direction from others. I also would say I'm a leader off the field as well. People describe me as outgoing and I do enjoy meeting new people and developing relationships with them. On the field, I'd say what sets me apart from most recruits is my speed. I am a great dodger from anywhere, and have the ability to draw slides and get the ball swinging. I use my speed and quickness to my ability on clears as well, beating opponents one on one, and getting the ball up field quickly for fast breaks.
