I first started playing when i was in the 7th grade and quickly started to find a passion for the sport.
We started a new team at my high school, so I will play on a varsity team for four years. I started as a Midfielder in my Freshman year. I still play as a Midfielder/Attack Midfielder for my high school team. I was a team captain in my Sophomore and Junior years. I was the leading scorer in my Junior year with: 40 goals, 87 shots, 12 assists and 26 ground balls over 12 games. I am really looking forward to this season!
I played on the Lacrosse Force High School Elite club team in 2015 and 2016. I play as a Defensive Midfielder. I was a starter in 2016. We have played in tournaments in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Colorado, Nevada and California.
My weighted high school GPA is 3.45. I received a couple of bad grades in the spring of my Junior year. I am re-taking those classes. I am sure that many students blame issues like this on teachers, but I truly did have a couple of bad teachers. I am working closely with my school Counselor, Ms. Simpson to fix these classes. She is willing to speak to coaches about these teachers on my behalf. She can be reached at Liberty High School at 702.799.2270.
I hope to be able to play lacrosse in college while getting my education. I typically excel in STEM categories, and I am determining what field of study to pursue.
I feel like I could be a great asset to a team. I am not afraid of hard work or commitment. I have played in start-up teams and well established teams. I am comfortable in either of those situations and love to be coached.
