Personal Statement
UPDATED STATEMENT 3/2022
Looking back at my original statement and I'm still on the same path. A few things have changed as I've had the opportunity to join a great prep school in Meriden , NH. My first 3/4's of the year at Kimball Union have been incredible. I played JV hockey before moving up to the Varsity team. We just had our first trip to Philadelphia for warm up week with the Lacrosse team. Great experience! In just a few days from now we kick off our 2022 season at Tufts University in a game against Tabor Academy. Seriously, does it get any better? I'm sure it does! I still have goals of pursuing Business & Criminal Justice avenues in College. I am also still looking to play lacrosse and help my team by being an impact player. I look to help my team by being a leader on and off the field.
My goals are still the same as I look to be the first College Graduate after High School in my family. I'll update this again in the future once I get a little closer to starting my collegiate goals.
ORIGINAL STATEMENT
I am looking to be the first graduate from my family at the age of 22. My mom did go back to college and graduated at 40 which I was very proud of. My goal is to play lacrosse for my school and become a great teammate. What makes me a strong candidate is the fact that I am looking to win at all aspects of my young life. I want to be a strong player and the leader of a team.
I feel I have a strong belief that all should be treated well. You don’t have to step on someone to become better. You do have to practice, study and work hard constantly to reach the top. My top may be different than someone else’s. I want to make sure I continue to strive for what I consider the top.
I’m only 14 at this moment in time. I do know the next four years are going to fly by. I know this because my parents constantly tell me that. I know this statement will change over time but I do believe that my goals will continue to drive me.
