Walter Grabeklis ...Personal Statement
I've been playing hockey and lacrosse (club and travel) for the past 8 years. Although I enjoy both, lacrosse has become the sport I love, and want to continue to play at the highest level possible. Everyday I am working hard on and off the field to make my goal a reality. I chose Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey, NJ because I knew this school would give me the best opportunities academically and athletically. My normal school day starts at 4:30 a.m., and usually end about 9 p.m.. The days are long with school, workouts, practices, games, and studying, but I know it will all pay off.
I've had many coach's and teammates throughout the years. I've enjoyed all the friendships, and different systems I have learned. Adapting to new teams, and being coachable are traits I take great pride in, and know will help me in all aspects of life. Although I am enjoying my high school years, I'm looking forward to the college experience, and playing lacrosse for another great institution.
